What we collect
- Account info: email, name, shipping address, billing address (managed by Stripe).
- Order info: tape inventory, conversion tier selected, timestamps, communications related to your order.
- Your videos: the digitized files we produce from your tapes. Stored in encrypted cloud storage (Supabase / S3).
- Usage info: standard web analytics (pages visited, referral source). No third-party advertising tracking by default.
What we do with it
We use your information to fulfill your order, communicate with you, bill you, and provide ongoing access to your library. We do not sell or share your data with marketers.
How your videos are protected
- Stored in a Supabase project with Row Level Security policies that restrict access to your account only.
- Streamed via short-lived signed URLs that expire after a few minutes.
- Operators (TapeRevive staff) can access your videos only for fulfillment and support; access is logged.
Third parties we use
- Stripe — payment processing. We never see your full card number.
- Supabase — authentication, database, file storage.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
- UPS — shipping.
- Vercel — hosting the website.
Your rights
You can request export, correction, or deletion of your data anytime by emailing support@taperevive.com. We respond within 30 days.
Data retention
- Without a Cloud Archive subscription: your converted videos are kept for 90 days after delivery, then permanently deleted.
- With a Cloud Archive subscription: kept as long as your subscription is active, plus a 30-day grace period after cancellation.
- Account and order metadata: kept for 7 years for tax and bookkeeping purposes.
